RATOMSKAYA

The property is an apartment with a total area of about 100 sq.m. for a family of four: two adults and two children of school age. The customer’s goal was to create an interior in a minimalist style (minimum furniture, decor and open surfaces), combining simplicity, convenience, functionality and elegance. Special requests were the use of blue-green shades in the interior. It was also necessary to provide a good zoning, system of lighting with different levels, use simple concise forms, simple and clear geometry in everything.  The customers already had a planning solution from other designers, but it did not work for them, so our studio was responsible for finding and implementing the best planning solution out of all!

PROJECT HISTORY

Let's look at the process of working on the object.

BEFORE/AFTER

HALL

When we enter the apartment, we find ourselves in the hallway where there is a mirror with lighting and a wooden console for storing change. For the clothes and shoes, there is a separate room — wardrobe, entrance to which is next to the console.

LIVING ROOM

Passing through the hallway, we get to the kitchen-living room. Here the kitchen is divided into two parts — with wooden and glass facades. The wooden part is similar to the wall trim and serves as a storage space, visually extending the entrance hall. Facades of glass with an unusual shade place in itself all the built-in equipment. There is also a bar and a full-service dining table, which makes it possible to turn the space into a common area for the whole family.

BEDROOM

In the interior design we have determined that when we get to every room of the apartment, visually we will be confronted with the main accent in the room. In this case, as we walk into the bedroom, we look at the dynamic headboard of the bed made to order from the cast panels.

GIRLS' BEDROOM

We designed the baby girl in light tones — dusty pink and cream. It was decided not to fill the room with "children" elements, so the room will last long and will be suitable even when she grows up. The sleeping place in this case is convenient and easy to fold, thus forming a zone for both recreation and common time with friends.

BOY'S ROOM

The boy’s room is brutal: there you can see a full-fledged bed, a long table made of metal frame, where you can place technical equipment for the boy’s interests — music classes, and also a wardrobe and a relaxation area.
The interior used laconic lines, and the protrusion of the columns behind the head of the bed was masked with lighting and contrasting colors.

GUEST BATHROOM

The guest bathroom was quite spacious. In the design of the bathroom played an important role unusual form of room: in the middle is a ventilation shaft, uncomfortable at first sight location was able to overcome the arrangement of plumbing, thanks to which the bathroom is divided into two areas. One part is more private, where the shower and toilet are hidden from view.
